Young And The Restless spoilers tease Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be left out in the cold. When Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) fell for Ashland Locke's (Robert Newman) lies, the Newman legacy was put at risk.
Victor Newman (Eric. Braeden) and the family tried to warn Victoria that Ashland was using her. But she would not listen. Instead, Vick played right into Ashland's hands and made him co-CEO of Newman-Locke.
Once Ashland's cover was blown, the Newmans strategized to get rid of him. However, Adam came up with a simple but effective solution. He offered Ashland a 500 million dollar bribe.
Although Adam went rogue, the plan worked. Not to mention Adam took over the CEO role while Victoria recovered from Ashland's betrayal and injuries from a car accident.
Now Victoria has shown just how ungrateful and vindictive she can be. Y&R spoilers for the week of May 2 to 6 reveal Victoria will pull the rug from under Adam on Young And The Restless.

Y&R: Adam Gets Burned
Newman Enterprises doubled in size when it merged with Locke Communications. So it makes sense to have co-CEOs share the workload.
Victor wanted Victoria and Adam to run the company together. Victoria threatened to walk away from her job if Victor enforced that idea. Then Victoria came up with a plan that Victor could not turn down.
Victoria offered Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) the job as co-CEO. Even though Nikki did not want to be a pawn in Victoria's vendetta against Adam, she accepted.
Y&R spoilers for May 9 to 13 suggest that Adam will continue to reel over Victoria's decision. Adam will also feel the sting of Victor supporting Victoria and Nikki.
He has done a lot to prove he is team Newman. Still, Adam does not get loyalty from any member of the family. But Adam has Sally Spectra's (Courtney Hope) support on Young And The Restless.

Sally Stands by Her Man on Young and the Restless
Adam will not be the only one who is upset that he does not get the CEO spot. Young And The Restless spoilers for May suggest that Sally will be dismayed.
Sally has watched Adam bend over backward for his family and Newman-Locke. Adam and Sally both believe that he has earned the CEO position.

Adam gave Victoria an earnest pitch about running the company together. However, Victoria's derisive and smug in her response. Adam has gone to bat for Victoria more than once in the past few months.
Yet, Victoria refuses to give Adam the benefit of the doubt. Vick wants nothing more than for Victor to see Adam as she does. Adam can expect Victoria to undermine him when it comes to business. Yet Adam may be fed up with Victor always siding with Victoria.
