Jed Duggar and Katey Nakatsu are now officially husband and wife. The Counting On couple had an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony in Arkansas.
The groom's twin brother, Jeremiah, joined him at the altar as his best man. Katey, on the other hand, was joined by her sister who acted as her maid of honor.
Due to the pandemic, the special event was limited to only family and a few friends. It seemed many of the Duggars were present at the ceremony, including Jim Bob and Michelle.
Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, were also in attendance. Eagle-eyed fans also spotted Counting On star Jana Duggar and her rumored pilot boyfriend, Stephen Wissman at the pre-wedding dinner.

Katey's Dad Admits He Picked Jed To Be Her Husband
Meanwhile, a shocking revelation was made during Jed Duggar and Katey Nakatsu's wedding. According to a fan page Without A Crystal Ball, Katey's father, Kory Nakatsu, admitted at the ceremony that he arranged his daughter's marriage to the Counting On star.
Kory claimed that at 13 years old, Katey already agreed "to allow God to pick her husband" and that she would trust him to find the right man. He said they made a list of things they wanted and prayed for it. He then found Jed and the rest is history.
Despite the supposed "arranged marriage," the Counting On couple looks happy together. This led people to believe that they genuinely love each other regardless if they were set up to be together or not.

Counting On: Jed and Katey's Wedding Vows Drew Mixed Views
Another controversial moment during Jed and Katey's wedding was their exchange of vows. The Counting On couple, who chose to have their first kiss off-camera, recited their vows in front of their families and friends.
But many couldn't help but notice the submissive tone of Katey's wedding vow. She promised to "submit and obey" Jed as he vowed to be her "authority and leader."
"I will submit to your authority as you submit to Christ," Katey cited from Proverbs 31. The happy couple is now about to begin their journey to married life.
