Young And The Restless spoilers tease Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be forced to choose. Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) landed on the wrong side of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). The Mustache became suspicious of Ashland's terminal cancer diagnosis, so he sent Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to investigate.
Y&R spoilers for the week of February 21 to 25 reveal Michael will dig up incriminating information on Ashland. Naturally, Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) will need proof of Ashland's deception.
Ashland had kept secrets of his shady past from his wife. Still, Victoria has been a staunch ally of her husband. Ashland will need people that he trusts in his corner.
The only other person Ashland considers a friend is Nate. Ashland has been pushed hard to get Nate on staff at Newman-Locke. Ashland feels Nate would be in his corner.
However, Nate has been a friend of the Newman family before Ashland was in the picture. Nate will soon be put in a difficult position on The Young And The Restless.

Y&R: Caught Between the Moguls
When Ashland confessed that he was dying, Victoria recommended they consult Nate. Based on the information given, Nate was not optimistic about Ashland's long future.
Nevertheless, Nate and Ashland struck up a friendship. When Ashland informed his friend about getting treatment in Peru, Nate did not hold out much hope. Like everyone else, Nate was pleasantly surprised by Ashland's recovery. Nate may soon change his opinion on Locke.
