Young And The Restless spoilers predict the battle of the business titans. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) recently expressed his mistrust of Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). When Ashland thought he was dying, he merged his empire with Newman Enterprises.
The Newman patriarch does not know what Ashland will do now that his health is improving. Also, Victor is not too happy having the Locke name attached to a company that he built from the ground up.
Victor should trust his instincts because Ashland was caught making moves at Newman-Locke. He did so without Victoria Newman Locke's (Amelia Heinle) knowledge.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was not happy when she busted Ashland. The Newman COO was perturbed. Yet, Victoria brushed Ashland's behavior under the rug.
However, Victor is keeping a close eye on his son-in-law. With the help of Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc), Victor will do some more digging into Ashland's past. Young and the Restless: Can Victor Take Down Ashland?
Ashland has a reputation for being ruthless in business. So does Victor Newman. Ashland experienced Victor's ruthlessness firsthand. Victor made Ashland sign over a media company while in the throes of a heart attack.
Yet, Ashland and Victor went on to have a mutual admiration society. That may be about to change. Michael is investigating Ashland's past and may come across interesting information. Y&R spoilers for January promise Ashland is holding on to one more secret. This secret may have devastating effects.
Young And The Restless viewers have been waiting for the Locke-Ness monster to show up. If Victor and Ashland butt heads, they may get their wish. Ashland could have come to Genoa City planning a takeover of Newman Enterprises.
Perhaps he was faking his illness all along. If so, Victoria handed Newman Enterprises over on a silver platter. Of course, Victor will never want that to happen. Yet Victor may have met his match on Y&R.

Who Will Lose in Victor and Ashland's War on Y&R?
If Ashland deceived Victoria from the start, she would be humiliated. That is the worst-case scenario. Even if Ashland sincerely loves his wife, she will still be caught in the middle of these two powerful men. Victoria thinks she is in the big leagues, and that could be true. However, she is not in the same league as Victor and Ashland.
These two businessmen are evenly matched. Ashland does not seem to have close friends or trusted business associates. On the other hand, Victor has Michael Baldwin. The two share a long history, and Victor trusts him.
Michael is also capable of working outside the box to get things done. That may not work in Ashland's favor. It will be an interesting battle of the tycoons on The Young And The Restless.
