Multiple sources are reporting that Chance Chancellor has been recast with actor, Conner Floyd who gave clues on social media. However, a Y&R castmate let the cat out of the bag on her Instagram account.

In a now-deleted post, Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman) posted a picture of herself pretending to be asleep. Jess Walton (Jill Abbott) and Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) are smiling down on her.
While the Instagram photo was cute, it is the banner that is eye-catching. The festive banner has Chance's name with a big exclamation point. There is also an impressive food spread. The banner and the food all point towards a celebration. It looks like a welcome home party for Chance. That is not the only indication Chance will find his way home on Y&R.

All signs are pointing towards Conner Floyd taking over the role on Y&R. Furthermore, there is recent activity on his Instagram account. Recent follows from Young And The Restless-based accounts and castmates on the CBS soap support his addition to the daytime drama. In particular, Melissa Ordway's following is most important. She would be working closely with Conner Floyd.
