The Young And The Restless spoilers know that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) dealt a crushing blow. She recently learned her husband, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), is likely to be dead.
Abby waited months for Chance to return home, only to learn he presumably died in an explosion. Abby will be in denial. However, Y&R spoilers reveal Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) will show Abby pictures that may force her to face reality.
Abby will struggle with the loss of her husband and the fact that he never got to see Dominic. The young widow will have the support of her family and friends. Even so, Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of November 1 to 5 hint that her parents, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), will be at a loss with how to help her. Will Abby ever come to terms with Chance's death?
Young and the Restless: Abby Needs Devon More Than Ever
Chance left town months ago to work undercover. He had very little contact with Abby, but she went on to have their baby.
With her husband out of the picture, Abby began to rely on Devon for support. As the baby shares DNA with Devon, he steps up in Chance's absence. Although Abby's loved ones will be there for her, Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Devon will be the one she leans on.

Abby's mental state will be fragile. Therefore, there is speculation that Devon will move into the Chancellor mansion. He knows Abby was struggling before Chance's demise. With Abby overcome by grief, Devon may want to be there for her.
He may also feel Abby will need help when it comes to the baby. Perhaps he will be the one to help her work through her overwhelming despair on Young and the Restless.
Can Abby Move On After Chance?
Abby will have Victor and Ashley at her side during this awful time. The Mustache will move heaven and earth to make sure his daughter is okay.

Ashley will do her part too. To that end, Young and the Restless spoilers show that Ashley and Christine decide to keep certain information from Abby regarding Chance. Perhaps they want to protect her fragile mental state. Or they want to help her accept Chance is gone. Abby has to grieve to get on with her life.
