Ever since he was stripped of the CEO title at Newman Enterprises, he has wanted to strike back at the family. The events surrounding Ashland Locke's (Robert Newman) death may give him an opportunity.
Adam had Kevin Fisher's (Greg Rikaart) official GCPD laptop stolen by Lucas (Aaron Schwartz). Lucas was able to quickly access the details of Chance Chancellor's (Conner Floyd) investigation.

Adam Newman's actions could land him in trouble. Victor Newman has proven that he will go to great lengths to protect the family. Right now, Adam is a threat to the Newmans.
Not to mention that Chance is struggling with his decision to close the case. He knows that Victor arranged a cover-up of the events surrounding Ashland's death.
Y&R spoilers imply Chance's guilty conscious will cause problems in his marriage. Then Adam will apply some pressure. Victor's trouble may not be behind him.
Still, this is Victor Newman we are talking about. The Mustache knows everything. Will he learn what his son is up to?
Victor may have no choice but to turn the tables on his son. Adam could land in jail himself. After all, he did break the law to get evidence against his father.
Or maybe Victor could frame Adam for a crime. It would not be the first time he has framed him for murder in the past. Will Victor send Adam back to prison on Young And The Restless?

Will Adam Burn His Bridges on Young and the Restless?
Victor feels bad that Adam never felt like he was a part of the family. He blamed it on his mother for keeping him away during his childhood. Still tossing Adam aside for Victoria Newman Locke (Ameila Heinle) was the last straw.
Perhaps Victor will accept that Adam will never truly be a part of the Newman clan. Then all bets would be off.
