90 Day Fiance: Paola Mayfield Confirms Split From Russ Mayfield
Paola and Russ Mayfield are the newest 90 Day Fiance couple to have called it quits. The TLC celebs confirmed the sad news through Paola's manager, Dominique Enchinton.
In an interview with In Touch Weekly, he revealed that Paola and Russ' marriage hit an all-time low during the pandemic. Things got even more complicated after Russ supposedly became unemployed.
"Russ has lost his job during the pandemic, so Paola was the sole breadwinner for the past year," the 90 Day Fiance star's manager claimed. "With all of that, it's definitely taken a toll on both of them being in each other's faces, so they are going to be taking a break for a little bit."
Despite the split, Paola Mayfield and her spouse, Russ Mayfield, are "not getting a divorce yet." Apparently, they're open to go to therapy and "work through the issues" for the sake of their son.

Paola Not Going Anywhere Despite Break From Russ
Following their split, one burning question is whether Paola Mayfield gets to stay in America. It's no secret that the 90 Day Fiance alum legally entered the country via a K-1 visa.
She then married Russ Mayfield and eventually got her US citizenship. This made her a legal citizen of the country.
It seems Paola Mayfield has had enough of people telling her to go back to Colombia now that she's no longer with Russ Mayfield. In an Instagram post, the 90 Day Fiance star said that would never happen whether people like it or not.
"When people tell me to move back to my country (typical), the United States is my country now," Paola captioned a photo of herself and her passport.

90 Day Fiance: Paola Accused of Using Russ for Citizenship
Paola Mayfield's latest post immediately drew mixed reactions on social media. Apparently, some 90 Day Fiance fans think the professional wrestler used Russ Mayfield for her benefit.
Paola has been accused of using Russ to get a green card, and now that she has it, she's dropping him fast. Some noted that Paola wouldn't be here if it weren't for Russ. They added she shouldn't brag about her citizenship after breaking up with him.
It looks like Paola Mayfield is unbothered by the negative comments though. The mother of one shows no sign of backing down and continues to do her thing on and off-camera.
