Victor's Offer to Chelsea
Victor Newman shows up unannounced at Chelsea Lawson's apartment. Y&R spoilers tease he reminds her of how he helped her avoid getting charged with the attempted murder of Rey Rosales.
He offers to help her again anytime she needs it. Chelsea thanks him for the offer but claims she doesn't need it.
The Mustache notes she's part of their family, so they will help her get up when she falls down. Victor adds that he doesn't want Connor burdened by their issues.
He and Nikki love the young boy and are protective of him. Chelsea insists her son is happy and thriving. Still, Victor offers to take care of his grandchild if she ever needs a break.

Adam Blocks Victor
Adam Newman arrives and chimes into their conversation. Young and the Restless spoilers reveal he's not happy about Victor's move.
Adam asserts himself and tells his father that Chelsea is off limits. But Victor is not backing down. He repeats his offer to Chelsea before walking out the door.
Chelsea realizes he helped her see things more clearly, adding that things might've been better if she had gotten the help back then. Adam assures her that everything will be fine, especially now that she's working on herself.

Lily Makes a Tough Decision
Billy Abbott drops by Lily Winters' office, surprising her with chocolates. Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, January 11, reveal he's not ready to give up on them, but she doesn't seem to feel the same.
Lily says he loved him, but sadly, they drifted apart. She believes that relationships shouldn't hurt this much. Billy's sorry for causing her pain, but she doesn't want him to blame himself.
Lily adds this is not easy for her, but he walked away from them a long time ago. She feels like Billy's happiness doesn't include her.
They were the perfect match, but now it's over. Billy finds this the most adult breakup he's had. They both cry.

Abby Interrupts Chance and Sharon
At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman prepares a special coffee just for Chance Chancellor. Young and the Restless spoilers note the two enjoy each other's company.
Abby Newman walks in and glares at Chance and Sharon. She interrupts their moment, noting that she hasn't seen him this happy in a while.
Abby then tells Chance she wants to move out of the house. He instantly thinks she's moving in with Devon Hamilton. She insists she's not planning on it and hasn't even thought about it.
Abby's shocked that Chance would think that. He fires back, telling her that if she truly believed what she did was wrong, she would not feel the need to spend every waking hour with the man who caused their marriage to fail.
Chance and Sharon exchange glances as Abby storms out. He apologizes to her for having to witness it. Sharon thinks he needs that to get the burden off his chest.

Devon and Lily Clash
Devon Hamilton meets with Lily, who's furious at his sudden change of mind. She yells at her brother and accuses him of stabbing her in the back.
Devon insists he doesn't want to fight her and just wants his company back. Lily wants to salvage this, offering to give him more autonomy without separating their companies.
But he doubts it, especially with the IPO coming. Devon's sorry it has come to this. Lily feels betrayed. She sees no difference between him and Nate Hastings. She even thinks he's become more like Victor Newman.

Victor Loses Patience With Adam
At the Society, Victor fills Nikki Newman in about his visit with Chelsea. Young and the Restless spoilers tease they'll wonder if she's hiding a secret.
They noticed that Adam and Victoria were so attentive to her at Christmas. They know something is up.
Adam shows up and tells his father to back off. He tells him he's done with his controlling ways and walks off.

Meanwhile, an emotional Abby drops by Devon's place. Fresh from a breakup, Billy sits at Chelsea's doorstep. She's surprised to see him looking as if he's been crying.
