Victor sent Michael to Peru to investigate Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). For his efforts, Michael was thrown into a Peruvian jail. Meanwhile, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) was frantic with worry. Michael escaped and returned home safely.
After that harrowing experience, Lauren wanted Michael to quit working altogether. Furthermore, she wants him far away from Victor and the Newman family drama.
Michael is not ready to give up working for Victor, though. Y&R spoilers for the week of May 9 to 13 suggest that Lauren has reason to be concerned. Victor has at least two powerful enemies to contend with. Will The Mustache put his most trusted man in the line of fire on Young And The Restless?

Y&R: Michael Faces Danger
Michael Baldwin is glad that he was a key factor in taking down Ashland Locke. Ashland is out of Newman Enterprises. Moreover, Ashland's marriage to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be annulled.
Still, he refuses to leave town or give up on his wife. Ashland has proven that he will go to extreme measures to get what he wants. Perhaps Ashland still poses a threat.
Then there is Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Diane caused so much damage and chaos in Genoa City. When Diane was "murdered," almost everyone in town was a suspect.
Now that she is back, Victor is on high alert. Diane and Michael ran into each other at the Grand Phoenix. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) spotted the pair sharing a drink.
Y&R spoilers imply that Phyllis will be upset that her pal, Michael, is cavorting with her enemy. Michael knows Diane's history, especially with the Newmans. Does she have sinister plans for the Newmans on Young And The Restless?
