Victor suspected Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) faked his cancer diagnosis, and the proof could be found in Peru. Michael was successful and found two doctors from the Peruvian clinic to verify Ashland's deception. Unfortunately, Michael went missing shortly after, along with the Peruvian doctors.
Michael's wife, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman), was frantic with worry. Yet Victor chose to keep Lauren in the dark. Lauren got Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) involved.
In turn, Kevin got the police involved. In addition, Victor declared that he would move heaven and earth to get Michael back if he was missing. There will be good news on that front.

A Rift Between Michael and Victor on Young and the Restless?
Lauren is livid about how Victor treated her while Michael was missing. Victor would not even admit that Michael was missing.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) verified that Michael disappeared to Lauren. Victor only admitted Michael vanished when Lauren showed up at his office to berate him. Michael would not be happy that Lauren had no idea what happened to him in Peru.
