Young And The Restless spoilers tease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take charge. When Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) visits Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle), things take a turn for the worse.
Victoria was home alone when she found Ashland staring at her through the French doors. After Victoria lets Locke in, they will argue. Ashland will make veiled threats that will frighten his wife.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was worried about Victoria after Adam Newman's (Mark Grossman) warning. Adam said that Ashland was out for blood.
Y&R spoilers for the week of July 25 to 29 reveal that Ashland will grab Victoria, and she will grasp a fireplace poker to defend herself. Then Nick will show up and have words with Ashland.
The two men will scuffle. Nick will punch Ashland, and his head will hit the brick fireplace. It appears that Ashland's time is at an end on Young And The Restless.

Y&R: Nick Causes Ashland's Death?
Nick will call Ashland's name, but he will be unresponsive. After Nick cannot find a pulse, Victoria will try CPR. However, Ashland will not be revived.
Victoria will call Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to report Ashland's death. Then Nick will take a walk to clear his head.
Victoria will follow to assure him. She maintains Ashland was going to kill her, so Nick saved her life. The brother and sister will go back into the house. Ashland's body will be gone. All that is left is a pool of blood. Where is Ashland's body?
Victor has had a security detail on Victoria since she returned to Genoa City. They would certainly report finding Ashland's body. Did Victor have them remove it to protect Nick on Young And The Restless?

Victor Takes Charge
Victor is not going to allow Ashland's death to tarnish the Newman legacy. Young And The Restless spoilers for July 25 to 29 suggest that he will cover his tracks.
The Mustache will make Ashland's death appear to be an accident. Still, Nick will be haunted. Further spoilers imply Nick will seek Nikki Newman's (Melody Thomas Scott) advice over a moral dilemma. Will Nikki have words of wisdom for her son?

On the other hand, Victor will put everything else aside to deal with this latest disaster. Even in death, Ashland is a threat to the Newmans. Will Victor's actions make things worse in the long run?
After all, Nick did not mean to kill Ashland. Also, Chance was told that there was an accident involving Ashland by Victoria. Will Chance suspect a coverup? Will a Newman end up behind bars on The Young And The Restless?
