Young and the Restless spoilers tease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will drop a bombshell on Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). The Mustache has been looking into the antics of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
To that end, Victor sent Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc) to Peru to do some snooping. Victor is aware of Ashland's shady financial ties to the Peruvian clinic, where he received medical treatments. However, B&B spoilers for the week reveal Michael will uncover a major secret.
Victor shared with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that he never fully trusted Locke. He asked his son to keep an eye on Ashland.
Victor has eyes on Ashland while he concocts a plan to expose the big lie. Perhaps Ashland has been lying about his terminal diagnosis from the beginning. It is suspicious that the very clinic Ashland is funneling money into is the same clinic that "cured" him.
Ashland also has raised doubts by making power moves behind Victoria's back. Nikki was the first to bust Ashland making personnel changes. Although Nikki questioned Victor's decision to investigate their son-in-law, protecting Victoria is a priority on The Young and the Restless.

Y&R: Victor and Nikki Team Up?
Nikki had a conversation with her son Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). They both agreed that family comes first for Victor. Also, that the business and the family are intertwined.
Nikki likes that quality in Victor, so protecting the Newman legacy is important to both of them. Y&R spoilers for the week of February 21 to 25 suggest that Victor will confide in Nikki.
Naturally, Nikki will be curious about Michael's findings of Ashland. Victor will likely want Nikki to be on board with how he handles Ashland's latest bombshell.

Victoria practically cut her brother, Nick, out of her life for uncovering Ashland's checkered past. Vik also scolded her father about digging into her husband's connection to the clinic.
In both instances, Ashland was savvy enough to break the news to Victoria before anyone else. Yet, he may not stay one step ahead of Victor this time around. This secret may be so major that Victor and Nikki may have to strategize on how Ashland is exposed on the CBS soap.

Will Victoria Lean On Nikki on Young and the Restless?
Ashland's lie is rumored to have major implications for Victoria, the Newmans, and the family business. Victoria had expressed her displeasure at Victor for looking into Ashland, calling it a betrayal.
Even though Victoria has doubts about her husband, she may be angry at Victor. It is possible that Victoria could lose her husband and her lofty position as CEO of Newman-Locke.
Of course, Victoria will need someone to lean on. Nikki will be there for her. Vik trusts her mother so much that she made her COO of Newman Enterprises. While Victoria may be on the outs with the other Newmans, it is doubtful she will push her mother away. Nikki may once again play the role of peacemaker on The Young and the Restless.
