Allie had just lost her father and did not seem to have a lot of support. Perhaps that is why Allie appreciated Diane Jenkins's (Susan Walters) advice on her family issues.
Allie has no idea that Diane is pulling strings behind the scenes. Young And The Restless spoilers for the week of March 28 to April 1 imply that Allie and Jack will be affected by a stunning revelation.

Diane will reveal herself to Jack. Abbott will have the shock of his life as Diane was "killed' back in 2011. Jack will angrily remind Diane of all the trouble she has caused in the past. Diane will cry and say she is trying to make up for the damage she caused.
