Nikki Newman was recently promoted to co-CEO of Newman Enterprises. Young And The Restless spoilers for the week of May 9 to 13 tease that Nikki will face her first major challenge in the position.
Nikki will have to do damage control. Perhaps the details of Ashland's plan for a hostile takeover became public. Could Billy's thinly disguised podcast tip off the media?
Or maybe Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) goes rogue again. Adam was thrown for a loop when Victoria ruined his shot at becoming co-CEO. Adam decided that he wanted to run the company alone. What better way than to publicly embarrass his sister.
The company was put at risk because Victoria fell for Ashland's deceit. Nikki would go into overtime to protect her daughter and the Newman legacy on Young And The Restless.

Nikki Newman was fed up with Ashland Locke when he offered to donate 250 million dollars to New Hope. It was an obvious attempt to look good in Victoria Newman's eyes.
