Young And The Restless spoilers predict Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will face a dilemma. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) recently approached him to investigate Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Michael is the one person in Genoa City that calls Diane a friend, so he was reluctant to dig into her past as Taylor Jensen. Still, Nikki would not take no for an answer. In the end, Michael agreed to investigate.
In the spirit of friendship, Michael let Diane know that Nikki is looking for dirt. Diane claimed she lived a quiet life as Taylor. Moreover, Michael would not find any scandals in her past life in Los Angeles.
Y&R spoilers for the week of June 27 to July 1 reveal that Nikki is hoping that Michael finds dirt on Diane. However, Michael may be conflicted about exposing Diane's life as Taylor. Will he find anything incriminating on Young And The Restless?

Michael warned Diane that when he investigates, he is "accurate and thorough." Diane assured him that she was a model citizen when she lived in Los Angeles. Was Diane telling the truth?
Perhaps Diane is just confident that any wrongdoings will remain buried. However, Michael is excellent at his job. If there is anything scandalous in her past, Michael will find it. Still, what would he do with such information?
Michael is hoping that Diane's redemption is real. After all, he has a checkered past himself. Michael knows that Nikki will pounce upon any misdeeds in Diane's past. No one wants Diane gone more than Nikki, except perhaps Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
If Michael finds anything of interest, he may face a dilemma. Will Michael protect his friend? Or will he expose Diane on Young And The Restless?

Will Diane Lose Ground on Young and the Restless
Diane became the most hated person in Genoa City when she returned. However, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) may have been a close second.
Yet Diane has made progress with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Michael is in her corner. But if Diane is hiding things from her time as Taylor, she may be back at square one.
Still, Diane could use Michael's investigation to her advantage. Young And The Restless spoilers for the week of June 27 to July 1 suggest that Diane will play the victim. Perhaps she will make it look like she is being persecuted.
