Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have a change of plans for New Year's Eve. Although Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is newly single, she and Jack put the brakes on a romantic reunion. Yet, it doesn't mean they do not have feelings for one another.
Phyllis and Jack are wary of the pain a relationship can cause. Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Brennan) visited her pal Phyllis at the Grand Phoenix. Fenmore encouraged her friend to spend New Year's Eve with Jack.
Phyllis was very reluctant to the idea. Red informed Lauren that she turned down Jack's Christmas invitation, ostensibly because Jack's sisters dislike her.
However, New Year's Eve would be spent one on one. Lauren spoke with Jack, and he plans to be in New York for a few weeks. She encouraged Phyllis to join Jack to ring in the new year. Will Jack and Phyllis spend the holiday together on Young and the Restless?

Young and the Restless: Phyllis Makes Plans
The walls that Jack and Phyllis put up may prevent her from traveling to New York. Young and the Restless spoilers for December suggest Phyllis will plan a bash at the Grand Phoenix.
Phyllis jokes with Lauren that she will look forward to a catfight between Fenmore and her sister-in-law, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Yet, that may not be the only excitement in store for her.
Perhaps Lauren will inform Jack about the bash at the Grand Phoenix. Jack still has a place in his heart for his Red. He may decide that he wants to ring in the new year with Phyllis.
If Jack makes an appearance at Phyllis's gathering, she would be pleasantly surprised. Emotions are heightened during the holidays, especially on New Year's Eve. Jack and Phyllis may let their guard down and give in to their feelings on Young and the Restless.

Are Phyllis and Jack Meant To Be on Y&R?
Jack and Phyllis have a tumultuous history on the CBS soap. Phyllis broke Jack's heart by cheating on him with Nick. Phyllis cares for Jack and has no desire to cause him pain. Yet, they have a strong connection and are drawn to one another.
So Jack and Phyllis have been fighting their feelings. Also, Phyllis needed time to recover from the breakup with Nick. Yet the pair may decide to take the risk.

If they kiss at midnight on New Year's Eve, passion may flare. Jack accepts Phyllis for who she is and will call her out on her actions if needed.
For her part, Phyllis is fiercely protective of Jack. He has always held a piece of her heart. New Year's Eve would be the perfect time to let down their defenses and start a new relationship on Young and the Restless.
