Young and the Restless spoilers tease Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) pushes the limits. When Dominic Abbott-Newman Winters Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) was just a thought, Devon was there. Throughout the pregnancy, Mariah Copeland's (Camryn Grimes) kidnapping, and the baby's birth, Devon was there too.
Abby Abbott-Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) relied heavily on Devon throughout the whole process. Yet, Devon signed a contract agreeing to be just a sperm donor.
However, Devon developed a strong bond with the baby and is very protective of Dominic. When Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) came home, he struggled to bond with Dominic.
It was clear that Chance had suffered from trauma due to the explosion in Spain. That gave Devon the push he needed to pursue shared custody of his biological son. Y&R spoilers for the upcoming weeks suggest that Chance will begin therapy. How will Devon react on Young and the Restless?

Young and the Restless: Devon Makes a Move
Chance getting treatment for PTSD is great for him and his family. It may result in Chance being a better father for Dominic. Yet, Y&R spoilers for the week of February 28 to March 4 reveal Devon will try to protect Dominic's best interests.
Dominic has two other parents who may not appreciate Devon making bold moves without their input. On the other hand, if it truly is in Dom's best interests, Abby and Chance may applaud Devon's efforts.
Abby certainly had a hard time accepting the shared custody arrangement. Now that Chance will seek therapy, Abby may want to revisit that agreement.
However, Devon may want to spend more time with Dom. Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of March 7 to 11 tease Devon will express concerns to Amanda. Devon has been worried about Chance's negative influence on Dominic. Is this more of the same? Of is it something else?

Will There Be Tension Between Dom's Parents on Y&R?
During Dominic's medical crisis, all three parents came together. Abby, Chance, and Devon were so thankful that the bone marrow transplant was successful.
Devon was relieved that he was a match. Yet, Dominic's recovery may cause some friction. In light of Dominic's illness, Devon has decided he wants more time with his son.
Devon disappointed Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) when he turned down her merger proposal. One of the reasons Hamilton gave was spending time with Dom.
Certainly, Abby would hate the idea of Dominic spending more time away from home. Chance may be disappointed with Devon's timing. After all, Chance is finally getting the help he needs on The Young and the Restless.
