So Chelsea took out her jealousy and frustrations on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). She could see the connection between Adam and Sally. To say Chelsea was unhappy is an understatement.
Despite Chelsea's best efforts, Adam and Sally got together. Y&R spoilers suggest Adam and Sally's relationship will be in full swing. It is only a matter of time before Chelsea learns that Adam and Sally gave into their passion.
Chelsea will likely be upset, but it may not be the end of the world. Chelsea already made plans to distance herself from Adam. Lawson moved out of the penthouse that they shared.
Before Newman Media was sold, Chelsea decided to move the fashion division away from Adam. Without Adam being a constant presence, another man has been on Chelsea's mind on the CBS soap.

Chelsea and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) have developed an unlikely friendship. Rey is a straight and narrow police detective. Chelsea is an ex-con who nearly killed Rey while trying to frame Adam.
Nevertheless, they got to know one another on a road trip to visit Chelsea's mother. Rey could have turned his back on Chelsea, but he showed compassion.
The good officer even advised Chelsea to put Adam out of her life. Rey and Chelsea have run into one another at Crimson Lights and enjoyed their conversations. Perhaps Chelsea enjoyed their talks too much.
Ms. Lawson had a dream of a steamy kiss with Rey. When Chelsea ran into Rey again, she immediately recalled her dream. Y&R spoilers for the upcoming weeks indicate the pair will have other encounters.
Chelsea may feel awkward, especially if she continues to dream of the hunky police detective. Chelsea may develop real feelings for Rey on Young And The Restless.

Will Chelsea Play Dirty On Young And The Restless?
If Chelsea decides to pursue Rey, there will be one major obstacle. Rey happens to be happily married to Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case). Yet, that may not matter much to Chelsea because she can not stand Sharon.
It may work in Chelsea's favor that Sharon has been bonding with her ex-husband, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Rey has noticed their closeness and does not seem to like it.
Chelsea has spent almost her entire life being a con artist. So if she sees a weakness in Rosales' marriage, she could use it to her advantage. Rey is a stand-up guy, so it will not be easy to lure him away from Sharon.
It also does not bode well for Chelsea that Rey loves his wife. So Chelsea will have to tread carefully if she wants to act on her attraction to Rey. Will Chelsea and Rey be a couple on The Young And The Restless?
