Young And The Restless spoilers suggest that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is on the right track. Abby Newman-Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) was happy to see Chance playing with their son.
Of course, Abby was thrilled to see the change in Chance. Therapy seems to be working. That could only mean good things for Chance, Abby, and Dominic Newman-Abbott Winters Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).
Chance also told Abby, his therapist recommended that he go back to work. Understandably, Abby was concerned. After all, Chance did suffer an anxiety attack during the middle of a stakeout the last time he was on the job.
Chance assured Abby that he was ready, and Abby gave her full support. Things seem to be looking up for the Chancellors. Y&R spoilers for the week of April 4 to 8 reveal that Chance will keep the lines of communication open with his wife. Abby may have her happy family on Young And The Restless.

Y&R: Chance Settles In
Chance struggled with adjusting to life in Genoa City. The trauma of being the sole survivor of the explosion in Spain took a heavy toll.
Chance suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. Initially, Chance resisted getting help. When he did go to therapy, it was difficult for Chance and Abby.
Yet it seems as though Chance is having a breakthrough. Although Chance had a flashback of the explosion when playing with the baby, he bounced back.
Chance believes that he is ready to join the police force and settle into life in Genoa City. Chance called Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to broach the subject. Naturally, Rey had some concerns, but Chance is willing to take it slow.

Also, Chance assured Rey he had changed since the stakeout incident. Rey agreed to talk to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). Joining the police force again can add to Chance's confidence. Abby would be happy to see Chance fulfilled on Young And The Restless.
Abby and Chance's Future Looks Bright on Young and the Restless
Abby may have concerns about Chance going back to work. Even Abby's mother, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), thought it might be too soon.

Abby shut Ashley down by supporting Chance's decision. It certainly could work out well for the couple. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) would not have ammunition against Chance if he was a functioning, productive member of society.
Abby and Chance's bond may continue to grow. Y&R spoilers for the week of April 4 to 8 tease that Chance will confide something in Abby. Chance's willingness to open up to Abby is a positive step. Perhaps Abby and Chance have a great future on The Young And The Restless.
