Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Chance Chancellor's (Conner Floyd) struggles will continue. Chance suffered significant trauma while undercover in Spain. Consequently, Chance has had a tough time adjusting to normal life.
Even worse, the returning hero has not been able to connect with his son, Dominic Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). All this is very upsetting to Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), especially when Chance's struggles ultimately led to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) asking for shared custody of Dominic.
Chance has a real problem but he has not sought help. To add to his ordeals, he feels guilt over the new custody arrangement. It doesn't help that Abby is so miserable about it.
The couple will have a rough road ahead. Y&R spoilers for the week suggest Chance and Abby will face parenting challenges. They may need the help of the "baby whisperer." Devon is probably the last person Chance and Abby want help from on The Young and the Restless.

Y&R: Will Chance Step up When Needed?
Chance is in denial about the help he needs. Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case) has explained that Chance cannot be helped unless he wants it.
Abby is worried about her husband, but she can not force him to see a professional. Will Chance have to hit rock bottom to seek help?
Y&R spoilers for February tease that Dominic will have some type of medical crisis. The crisis will have Abby and Devon at odds. However, it may have a devastating effect on Chance.
Young and the Restless rumors imply Chance may know the reason for Dominic's medical emergency. Perhaps Chance may suffer a post-traumatic stress episode while caring for the baby. Or maybe he unintentionally neglects Dominic. Either scenario could result in a crisis for the baby.
Of course, Chance would feel guilty if Dom got sick under his care, especially if he didn't know right away because of his mental state. Would Chance confess or keep it a secret on Young and the Restless?

Is Dominic the Key to Chance's Recovery on Young and the Restless?
If Dominic suffers a medical crisis under Chance's care, that could push him into getting professional help. After all, Chance loves the little guy. Plus, he knows how much Abby adores their son. If there was a possibility that Dom could suffer under Chance's watch, it could be a wake-up call.
On the other hand, Chance could be the one to save Dominic. Chance believes that he can not bond with his son. Then, he had to watch Devon's connection to the baby.
Devon has the magic touch with Dominic, which Chance lacks. What if Chance was the one to detect Dominic's medical issue? Chance would realize that he does have a connection with his son. It may inspire him to want to be a better father. Chance could finally get the help he needs on The Young and the Restless.
