Young and the Restless spoilers tease Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will try to work his charm on another Newman woman. Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) appears to be firmly in Ashland's corner, so much so that she has turned against her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Victor learned that Ashland faked his terminal cancer diagnosis to dupe Victoria. It seems Locke wanted to get his hands on the Newman empire. So Victor is fighting Ashland for the Newman legacy. With Ashland's hold over Victoria, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is worried.
Nikki had misgivings about Victor's findings on Ashland. However, Nikki knows that Victor would not just make this up. Also, she knows her husband is looking out for Victoria's best interest.
Nikki tried to guide Victoria in the right direction, but it did not work. Victoria wanted Nikki to say she didn't believe that Ashland could do such an evil thing. When Nikki could not, Victoria insulted her mother. Can Nikki be persuaded to trust Ashland on Young and the Restless?

Y&R: Ashland Needs an Ally
Ashland is up against Victor Newman and needs people in his corner. It is a blow to Locke that his friend, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), is losing trust. Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of March 14 to 18 suggest Nate will have a difficult decision to make.
Further spoilers imply Nate will stay loyal to Victor. Not only that, but Nate could work with Victor to prove Ashland faked an illness. So Ashland will try to get Nikki on his side.
Y&R spoilers for the upcoming week speculate that Ashland will try to coax Nikki to be on his side. Nikki is not certain that Ashland is guilty, but she does know that Ashland has lied before.
Also, when Ashland promised there were no other secrets, his ties to the Peruvian clinic came to light. At any rate, Victor will not let his wife be on team Ashland. Therefore, it looks like Nikki will side with the rest of the Newmans on Young and the Restless.

Will Victoria Need Nikki on Young and the Restless?
Victoria does feel like the rest of her family is against her. Also, they are all attacking her husband. Perhaps Ashland will play on Nikki's feelings by using Victoria's hurt and anger.
The truth is both Vik's parents want to protect her. Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of Match 14 to 18 state Victor will present Victoria with damaging proof on her husband. Victoria will still take Ashland's side.

Victoria is so much like Victor so the empire he built means everything to her. Vik took great pride in being CEO of Newman Enterprises. Merging the company with Locke's was a great idea when Ashland was going to die, but he had a miracle cure.
With all the drama surrounding Ashland, it seemed foolish to sign a contract that made him co-CEO. Does Victoria have a trick up her sleeve? Or is she just blinded by love? Either way, Nikki will be there for her daughter on The Young and the Restless.
