Young And The Restless spoilers tease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will play mind games. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is on a mission to solve the mystery surrounding Ashland Locke's (Robert Newman) death.
After being punched by Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Ashland fell and hit his head. Neither Nick nor Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) could find a pulse. Yet, Ashland went missing after his fall.
Of course, Victor arranged to make it appear like Locke died in a car accident. Victor and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) thought their plan was foolproof. However, the pair did not count on Chance's suspicions of a cover-up.
Y&R spoilers for the week of August 15 to 19 divulge that Chance will go full steam ahead with the investigation. The detective will find an important new clue. What will happen when Chance confronts Victor with new evidence on Young And The Restless?

Y&R: Victor Manipulate's Chance
Victor and Victoria have tried to intimidate Chance into dropping the case on Ashland. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) even tried to get Abby Newman-Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) to influence her husband.
The more pressure the Newmans apply, the more Chance will dig in on solving Ashland's case. Victor will have to try a new tactic. Young And The Restless spoilers for the week of August 15 to 19 divulge that Chance will confront the Mustache with the latest evidence.
Victor will ask Chance how he would react if Abby killed Ben "Stitch" Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) to protect her family. Would Chance target Victor if he arranged a cover-up for Abby? Chance will believe it is not the same.
Further Y&R spoilers for the upcoming week suggest that Victor will try to exploit Chance's love for baby Dominic. He will suggest that the young boy will grow up to resent Chance if he lands in prison.
If Victoria and Nick get in trouble, Dominic will resent Chance even more. Will Chance fall for Victor's mind games on Young And The Restless?

Will Chance Drop the Investigation on Young and the Restless?
The Newmans want nothing more than to put Ashland Locke behind them. Victor will scold Nikki and Nick to stop bringing up the topic. When Abby visits her sister, Victoria will tell her that Chance should drop the case.
But Chance will still confront Victor with the new evidence. Will Victor's challenge cause Chance to back down? Victor will still be worried.
