Thomas announced he was ready to have his son, Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri), live with him full-time. Hope loves Douglas as if she gave birth to him, so the thought of losing the little guy has her worried.
Thomas promised that Hope would still have an important role in Douglas' life. Yet Hope can not imagine living without her son. B&B and spoilers for the week of August 15 to 19 reveal that Thomas Forrester will have second thoughts about his decision.
However, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will convince him he is doing the right thing. Thomas will have the support of other family members on Bold And The Beautiful.
B&B: Eric Supports Thomas
From the moment Taylor Hayes returned to Los Angeles, she has wanted Thomas Forrester to have full custody of Douglas. Naturally, Steffy Forrester believes that the little boy should be raised by their family.
Yet Douglas has been thriving with Hope Logan and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Not to mention that Thomas has not always been capable of being the best father to him. However, Thomas is in a better place and is ready to be a full-time parent.
B&B spoilers for the week of August 15 to 19 divulge that Thomas will ask Eric Forrester (John McCook) if he can move into the Forrester mansion. Thomas will add that Douglas will also move in full-time.
Eric will be delighted for Thomas. Of course, he will give his grandson his full support. But how will Hope handle this change on Bold And The Beautiful?
Hope Is Overwhelmed on Bold and the Beautiful
Thomas Forrester and Hope Logan will get together to discuss Douglas' custody. Bold And The Beautiful spoilers for the week of August 15 to 19 suggest that Hope will become overwhelmed with emotion. So will Thomas.
Hope will remind Thomas that Douglas is happy living with her, Liam, and Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davison). She will beg to let him stay. Will Hope's pleas move Thomas?
Thomas Forrester has been giving his decision a lot of thought. Then Douglas became upset on their last visit. The little guy felt like he does not get enough time with his dad. That pushed Thomas to want his son full-time.
Of course, Thomas is appreciative of the happy, stable life Hope has provided for Douglas. Still, he wants his son to live with him now. Not to mention that he will have the support of all the Forresters, including his father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Will the Douglas custody issue heat up the Forrester/Logan rivalry?
It will certainly cause another rift between Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Perhaps there will be a nasty custody battle brewing on The Bold And The Beautiful.
