"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Wednesday, May 20, reveal Phyllis Summers making her move against Matt Clark. Victoria wants to trade Matt to Victor Newman in exchange for her freedom.
It's not going to be an easy task, but Phyllis already has something up her sleeve. Meanwhile, Victoria Newman is starting to suspect that something is wrong with Nick Newman amid all the chaos happening around them.
'Young and the Restless' Phyllis Summers Takes Action On Matt Clark
"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Wednesday reveal Matt questioning Phyllis about why she always freaks out when he says he's leaving the room. "The Newmans know you're in town, the only place you're safe is with me," Phyllis tells him.
Matt wonders why Phyllis is still helping him, and she'll say everyone deserves a second chance. "The guy you were isn't the guy you are now, I believe in you," she adds.
Matt then asks Phyllis about her plans, and she says she wants to talk with the Newmans, hoping to convince them he's changed.
Little did Matt know that Phyllis was ready to stab him in the back. She picks up a metal object and slams Matt behind his head. She ties him up and calls Michael, telling him to meet with her in 15 minutes.
Victoria Becomes Suspicious Of Nick
Wednesday's spoilers of "Young and the Restless" tease Victoria having a conversation with Nick at Crimson Lights. Nick drops a fentanyl baggie out of his pocket. He picks it up and hides it as if nothing happened.
"I'm worried. How are you holding up?" Victoria asks. Nick tells her there are more important matters than his well-being. But Victoria wonders if he has entered rehab.
"It was very informative I'm committed to staying clean, I'm good," Nick says. Victoria then wonders why her brother is so calm. "What is your secret, how are you so relaxed?" she asks. Nick will say he's focusing on Zen.
But Victoria is not having Nick's explanations. "Tell me what's going. You are making a bigger out of this than you need to," Victoria says. Nick then leaves the scene and gets a call from Phyllis, who tells him that she's ready to make negotiations regarding Matt.
