"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Monday, May 18, reveal Patty Williams telling Matt Clark that he shouldn't trust Phyllis Summers. Phyllis is already negotiating with Victor Newman. She wants her freedom back in exchange for Matt.
But Matt himself is starting to recall everything, and it's only a matter of time before he regains his memories. Meanwhile, Nick Newman continues to make bad decisions, especially when it comes to his addiction. Christine is starting to question his puzzling request as well.
'Young and the Restless' Patty Reveals Phyllis's True Nature To Matt
Monday's spoilers of "Young and the Restless" feature Patty having a conversation with Matt. She doesn't want him to trust Phyllis, saying that she has family who hates her as well.
Matt wants to find out why the Newmans are targeting him. "I have a big target on my back and I don't even know why," he tells Patty.
"Maybe there's no way I can ever make amends because maybe the things I've done are more horrible than I can even imagine," Matt adds. Patty urges Matt to do whatever he can to retrieve his memories.
"I cannot live like this, it's no life at all," Matt says. Patty then tells Matt not to trust Phyllis at all cost. "She's not your friend Matt. She is leading you on and is setting you up," Patty says.
"I just don't see someone like that lying to me," Matt answers. Patty says she'll handle Phyllis herself, adding that she'll do whatever it takes to protect him.
Christine Questions Nick's Request
"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Monday tease Christine and Nick meeting at GCAC. Nick tells Christine to drop the charges on Phyllis, leaving her puzzled.
"Someone committed fraud," Christine says, adding that Nick must provide her with a good reason to pull the charges on Phyllis. Nick then tells Christine that he has a violent criminal he can hand over in exchange of Phyllis's freedom.
"Why offer Matt, why not bring them both to justice?" Christine asks. Nick then tells her to stop focusing on Phyllis and set her eyes on Matt instead.
Christine then asks Nick where Matt is, and he'll say he doesn't know. "You don't know, do you? You're letting her extort you, what the hell is wrong with you Nick?" Christine lashes.
