"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Monday, June 8, reveal Malcolm Winters and Cane Ashby finally making peace. Cane has been trying to redeem himself after all the chaos he caused in Genoa City.
Malcolm expresses his gratitude for Cane, but will this be enough for Cane to be forgiven by everyone? Meanwhile, Matt Clark has some doubts about accepting Victor Newman's mission for him.
But it's the only way he can prove his willingness to change and step away from his past.
'Young and the Restless' Malcolm Is Thankful For Cane
Monday's spoilers of "Young and the Restless" reveal Malcolm arriving, and Lily will embrace him. He tells his daughter that he has never felt better in years, and it's all thanks to Cane.
Malcolm then asks to talk to Cane privately. "Cane thank you. You saved my life," he says, and the two will shake hands. Cane will say he's happy to do it, and Malcolm will ask if it's also a gesture he did for Lily.
Cane will say yes, but he'll admit they're friends and he loves her. Cane wants to prove a point to Lily, and Malcolm will say she will make her own choice and he will not interfere.
However, Malcolm warns Cane that if he breaks Lily's heart again, he's going to be the one facing him.
Matt Agrees To Victor's Offer
"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Monday feature Matt getting curious about Victor's requests. He's skeptical about the tests, but Victor insists, adding that he needs a place to live first.
"I want you to live on the ranch property," Victor offers. "What?!" Nick screams. Matt says he doesn't get what's going on, and Victor will inform him about exactly what he should do.
"I want you to take care of a problem. The problem has a name, Cane Ashby," Victor says. Victor wants Matt to befriend Cane and figure out all the things he does.
Matt chuckles, asking, "I'm a spy?" "What do I get if I do this?" Matt asks. Victor will say he will be given freedom in exchange. "The other option is to pick up the phone and turn you in," Victor adds. With no other options, Matt will accept the mission.
