The next installment for Spider-Man: Homecoming has been causing some major confusion in the Marvel world. Fans have been speculating that the third movie will feature Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's versions of Spider-Man. However, there are reports stating that the two will only have cameos and won't have major scenes.
Aside from that, Tom Holland has been making headlines after releasing a prank teaser for Spider-Man 3. Now, it appears that the real name of the upcoming film is finally here.
Spider-Man: No Way Home Teaser Released
In an Instagram post, Tom Holland shared a new teaser of Spider-Man 3 right after he posted a prank version of the title. The teaser showed Tom heading out of John Watts' office while Jacob and Zendaya wait outside. When Tom got out, he told the two that John gave him another fake title.
Later in the teaser, the three left the office, and the camera suddenly zoomed in to the whiteboard where multiple potential Spider-Man 3 titles were written. However, the center of the whiteboard shows the main title for the third sequel, Spider-Man: No Way Home.
What to Expect in the Third Sequel?
Apparently, Spider-Man: Homecoming is the last movie of MCU's Phase 3. The movie ended with Spider-Man defeating Mysterio but also ended up revealing his true identity to the public. J. Jonah Jameson, played by J K Simmons, also made a surprising return to the movie.
It appears that Jameson's media power will become one of Spider-Man's biggest problems in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Meanwhile, there's still no information about the main villain. However, there are rumors stating that the troll titles on the whiteboard are hints that there will be a multiverse in the film.
Apparently, fans think that the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will open a door for new heroes and villains. Fans also think that it's one of the key factors in how Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's versions of Spider-Man will arrive in the MCU.
