Since Amy went public about her relationship with Chris, many LPBW fans were quite curious about the man she's dating. There were a few who weren't too fond of him. Some even accused Chris of seeking fame and fortune by getting into a relationship with the TV reality star.

The 59-year-old Marek can pretty much take care of himself even without the hit TLC reality series. It's a given that he receives compensation for his appearances on LPBW, but Chris Marek earns a decent keep on his own.
Marek is a real estate agent known to sell properties for $265,000 on average. That's a pretty impressive figure. Chris owns Keller Williams Real Estate though he's also involved with Knipe Realty. He's been part of the real estate brokerage firm since March of 2010.
Chris has 23 years of experience in the field and has a five-star rating on the online real estate marketplace Zillow. According to his Zillow profile, Chris sold an Aloha, Oregon property back in October for $335,000. The graduate of Portland State University is also an avid photographer and motorcycle lover.

Amy and her ex-husband Matt Roloff were divorced in 2015 after 27 years of marriage. The LPBW matriarch got back into the dating scene after a year, and that's when she first met her current husband.
The couple met and interacted in 2017 at a blind dating event. However, they were both at a singles' wine and painting night at Vine Gogh Artist Bar & Studio prior to that fateful night.
The two got to talk about Chris' love for motorcycles, which piqued Amy's interest. In fact, one of Chris and Amy's first dates was a motorcycle ride. Since then, the LPBW couple made it a point to go on long-distance rides every now and then.

Fans Worry About Amy Dating Chris
Fans of Amy Roloff were worried at the start about Chris Marek's supposed commitment issues. Marek has never been married prior to meeting the LPBW personality. Well, those concerns went for naught as the two have stuck with each other through thick and thin ever since.
Amy and Chris got engaged in 2019 and tied the knot in 2021. The wedding took place on August 28 at Roloff Farms. Amy's ex-husband, Matt Roloff, and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, weren't invited to the wedding ceremony but were welcome to attend the dinner afterward.
