General Hospital spoilers speculate that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is playing Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Peter believes that he has Drew under mind control but does Drew have a plan? GH viewers will recall that Peter used mind control to get Drew to kill Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Liesl Gives Good Advice
However, Drew was shot instead. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) tended to his wounds. After some discussion, the pair realized that Peter used a trigger word to control Drew's mind.
Obrecht is somewhat of an expert in hypnotic conditioning and offered Drew some tips. She told Drew to concentrate on something important to him (like his daughter) to weaken Peter's hold on him. Did Drew take Liesl's advice?
On the surface, it may not seem that way. Peter supposedly shot Drew. Cain ended up in a river in the dark of night. However, Peter picked Drew up who happened to be wearing a bulletproof vest.
Then when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had Peter cornered, Drew saved him. Cain did that by holding a gun on Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). So it seems that Drew is still under Peter's control. Yet what if Drew is just lulling Peter into a false sense of security.
General Hospital spoilers for the week of November 8 to 12 tease Peter will do something to demonstrate his power. Will it involve Drew?

GH: Will Drew Be The Key To Peter's Fall?
Peter must be the luckiest villain in Port Charles. So many people want him dead or imprisoned but he always eludes capture. Even legendary WSB agents like Anna and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) failed to take Peter out.
The skilled hitman, Jason Morgan also failed to kill August. The guy survived falling down a flight of stairs and getting locked in a freezer. Perhaps Peter arrogantly thinks he is invincible. That could be his downfall and Drew could be the one who gets rid of Peter on General Hospital.
Drew has a good reason to want Peter eliminated. Peter faked Drew's plane crash in 2019 and teamed up with Victor Cassidine (Charles Shaughnessy). Together they held Drew in prison for two years, where he was tortured. So Drew missed out on two years of his daughter's life.
Now Peter is using Drew as a killing machine. So far Drew has not killed any of Peter's enemies. That is a little strange as Drew is a trained Navy Seal. So there is another reason to think that Drew may be faking the mind control.

Will Drew Make It Back To Port Charles?
It appears that the only way Drew will make it home is to break free of Peter. He may be able to take out August but he may need help. Luckily for him, his twin brother is on the island of Crete with him.
It pays to have a hitman on your side. There is always a chance that he really is under Peter's control but Liesl is there also. Liesl has tried to kill Peter before. She can help Drew weaken Peter's hold on him.
Britt is there also, she also has reason to want Peter dead. They may be siblings but there is no love lost between them. After all, he did kidnap and drug Britt's mother. So Drew has three people in the same room with him and they all want Peter gone. Is this the end of Peter's reign of terror on General Hospital?
