Counting On: Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar Tested Positive for COVID-19?

Looks like Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's non-compliance with some COVID-19 protocols ended up badly for them. The Counting On stars allegedly fell ill with the virus last year, infecting other people along the way.

According to Instagram blogger Katie Joy, a source confirmed that Jim Bob and Michelle were hit by the virus at the end of September. There were claims that they got it pretty bad but didn't need hospitalization. Allegedly, the couple kept their condition under wraps even to their friends.

However, it's unclear if the couple really knew they came down with COVID-19. Some suggest that they may not be aware of it at the time. Others think the couple likely assumed it was just common flu and thought nothing of it.

Duggar Couple Still Threw Big Party Despite Being Sick

The same source claimed that Jim Bob Duggar and his spouse, Michelle, even threw a huge house party, inviting many of their families and friends. Apparently, the Counting On parents was already not feeling well when they held the big event.

They allegedly ended up infecting nearly all the attendees. There were even claims that the Duggar couple did not tell the guests about them having COVID-19 weeks after the party. This supposedly upset many of their friends.

It's no secret that Jim Bob and some of his family members don't usually follow COVD-19 safety measures like social distancing and wearing face masks. The Counting On stars have been called out because of it multiple times in the past.

Counting On: The Duggars Blasted for Not Following Protocols

In December 2020, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle held a big holiday party in Arkansas. At the time, the Counting On couple invited several people to their home, including their children and their respective families. The couple's friends also gathered at the big event.

Many pointed out that the Duggars and their guests did not follow safety measures while at the party. None of them were wearing masks and social distancing was not properly observed.

Interestingly, Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, also tested positive for coronavirus last year. It's unclear if they got the virus from attending her parents' house party in December.

So far, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have yet to confirm nor deny the reports.
