Carter knows that Quinn is not perfect. Still, he has not seen the dark side of her. Quinn's vendetta against Eric and Donna may cause concern. After all, Carter has only seen the spurned wife and the loving partner.
This side of Quinn will raise red flags. Eric not only encouraged her to fight for Carter, but he also promised a generous settlement. Quinn going after Eric seems to be done out of pure spite.
