Quinn had an affair with Carter that nearly ended her marriage to Eric. However, despite suffering from erectile dysfunction Eric reconciled with his wife. He gave his approval for Quinn to make love to Carter.
Nevertheless, Quinn did not have to agree with that arrangement. At least that is Brooke's opinion as well as the rest of Eric's family. Bold And The Beautiful spoilers for the upcoming weeks suggest Brooke will continue to work hard on pairing Donna with Eric. Will he take the bait?

Brooke will likely be the one who lets Eric know how Donna feels about him. Although he may be flattered, he will not act on Donna's feelings initially. Eric had been adamant about his devotion to Quinn despite his family's disapproval. His loyalty to Quinn may be strengthened by her willingness to give up Carter.
