Bold And The Beautiful spoilers know that Eric Forrester (John McCook) usually has Ridge Forrester's (Thorsten Kaye) back. But he also is not afraid to speak his mind.
Eric has had a front-row seat to the love triangle among Ridge, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). Of course, he was there when his son's latest wedding to Taylor imploded.
Eric even asked Ridge if he was sure he wanted to marry Taylor right before the ceremony. Of course, the dressmaker said yes, but he had been conflicted about ending his marriage to Brooke.
But Thomas Forrester's (Matthew Atkinson) schemes put an abrupt end to Ridge and Taylor's wedding. The two took some time away to think things over.

Eric Forrester will see that Ridge Forrester is still struggling to commit. B&B spoilers for the week of December 12 to 16 tease that Eric will challenge his son.
Eric may suggest that Ridge's waffling has gone on for too long. Also, Ridge going back and forth between the two women is not good for anyone.
Eric will also give his belief that Brooke is the woman for Ridge. He has not wavered on that issue. But will his words get through to his son?
Ridge may need more time away to think about his life choices. His portrayer, Thorsten Kaye, is allegedly scheduled to take an extended break from the CBS soap. Will he be gone soon?

Will the Decision Be Ridge's on Bold and the Beautiful?
Taylor Hayes had decided to let Ridge Forrester go. But her resolve crumbled when he told her that he had left Brooke. Still, Taylor had her heart broken again when Ridge stopped the wedding.
Meanwhile, Brooke was crushed when Ridge ended their marriage so suddenly. To make things worse, he refused to give her a reason. Brooke did not beg Ridge to come home. Instead, she sent him away to think about what he wanted.

Taylor and Brooke may not want to wait around for Ridge to make up his mind. They might make the decision for him once and for all.
But both ladies have a history of being putty in Ridge's hands. Also, he always ends up going back to Brooke. Eric could be right that Brooke and Ridge are destined for one another on The Bold And The Beautiful.
