'90 Day Fiance': Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya Braces For Hurricane Ida – Evacuate Safely

90 Day Fiance star Yara Zaya and her husband, Jovi Dufren, fled to safety as Hurricane Ida approaches Louisiana. The TLC couple did not take any chances and evacuated as soon as they got the chance.

Yara and Jovi brought along with them their daughter, Mylah. Fortunately, the family of three managed to find a safe place to ride the storm out.

Jovi Dufren and his wife, Yara Zaya, joined thousands of people evacuating from Louisiana as Hurricane Ida closes is. The 90 Day Fiance couple fears for their safety as the storm is reportedly under category 4 — even stronger than Hurricane Katrina.

The "life-threatening" hurricane is likely to landfall on Sunday evening — coincidentally, 16 years to the day Katrina devastated parts of the Gulf Coast. 

The tragic past was more than enough for Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren to immediately seek shelter away from their Louisiana home. The 90 Day Fiance couple took to Instagram and documented their journey out of the state before Ida hits.

Jovi and Yara Evacuate to Dallas

On her IG Stories, Yara Zaya revealed that they are heading to Dallas, Texas. The 90 Day Fiance star and her husband, Jovi Dufren, braved the incoming storm and drove out of the state.

Despite the terrible traffic, Yara is happy they left, noting that the situation doesn't look safe at all. The mom of one added that Dallas seems to be a smart choice as some of her friends and Jovi's family were stuck in heavy traffic for six hours to get to another place.

The family is now staying at a hotel in Dallas. Yara Zaya confirmed that they are safe and even shared a glimpse of their fancy room.

90 Day Fiance Couple Makes the Most Out of Their Trip

Jovi Dufren thanked everyone who expressed concern about their well-being as Hurricane Ida approaches. The 90 Day Fiance dad definitely did a good job remaining calm as he evacuated his family to safety.

Jovi and Yara are now making the most out of this "terrible situation." They enjoy their stay in the hotel as much as possible.

In another post, the couple and their daughter went for a stroll. Jovi also enjoyed a drink or two while out with Yara and Mylah.

Meanwhile, Jovi Dufren's mother, Gwen Eymard, confirmed that they had evacuated too. The fan-favorite mom took to Instagram and revealed they have safely reached their destination and will stay there until the storm passes.
