90 Day Fiance: Jihoon Lee

'90 Day Fiance': Jihoon Lee Gets Devastating News – Custody Battle At Risk

2 min

90 Day Fiance star Jihoon Lee just shared worrying news about his controversial GoFundMe. The ex-husband of Deavan Clegg confirmed that his fundraiser is now officially closed.

The move came after an unexpected dispute between the South Korean dad and his campaign organizer, Amanda Grayce Crosby. Many are now wondering how it will affect Jihoon's ongoing custody battle against his ex-wife.

90 Day Fiance: Jihoon Lee's Gofundme Shuts Down – Organizer Claims He Refuses to Communicate

Earlier today, Jihoon Lee confirmed that the GoFundMe intended for his legal battle has been shut down. The 90 Day Fiance celeb broke the news on Instagram following a lengthy post from his fundraiser organizer, Amanda Grayce Crosby.

Amanda was the one who started the campaign last year on behalf of Jihoon. She claimed to help the reality star out of goodwill and asked nothing in return. Crosby also devoted her time to promote his GoFundMe on social media and even got herself in dispute with Deavan and Elicia Clegg.

But it seems their good relationship has come to an end. Amanda took to Instagram and revealed she closed the fundraiser for good. She claimed that the 90 Day Fiance dad refuses to talk to her despite her multiple attempts to reach out.

She even accused Jihoon Lee of blocking her on social media, prompting her to subsequently shut down the account. Amanda noted that the campaign "cannot run without his complete cooperation."

Jihoon Refutes Organizer's Claims

It didn't take long for Jihoon Lee to respond to Amanda Crosby's statement. The 90 Day Fiance celeb did confirm that the GoFundMe is no longer active but denied it has something to do with him.

Deavan Clegg's ex-husband denied his organizer's allegations against him. He told fans he already cut ties with Amanda and another member of his team in America. He added that anything they say no longer reflects his opinion at all.

"Notice! Weetea (Amber) and Amanda's further statements or postings are not my opinion," the 90 Day Fiance star pointed out. "That's their thinking. I'll keep in touch with you guys soon."

Jihoon Lee also claimed Amanda and Amber "threatened" him and his Korean translators, so he decided not to work with them anymore. However, Jihoon did not go into details as to what exactly they did.

90 Day Fiance: What Will Happen to His Custody Battle?

So what happens next? Now that Jihoon Lee's GoFundMe has shut down, many are wondering if his legal battle against Deavan Clegg will move forward.

It seems the current drama between Jihoon and Amanda will not affect the progress of his legal bout — at least for now. Apparently, all the funds generated by the campaign were dispersed to Jihoon's attorney's law firm.

Amanda said, "All funds have been used appropriately for his divorce and child custody case." She also encouraged Jihoon's supporters to direct all questions they have to his lawyer, Joseph Alamilla.

It seems Jihoon Lee's legal battle continues. Whether or not it will be affected by the GoFundMe shutdown remains to be seen.
