90 Day Fiance star Ashley Martson shared some sad news on Instagram earlier. The TLC star revealed the person who helped her find out about Jay Smith's supposed cheating has been killed. Here's what we know so far.
90 Day Fiance: Barbershop Owner Who Reveals Jay Smith's Cheating Dead?
In an Instagram post, Ashley Martson claimed Kendall, the owner of GQ Barbershop in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, has been killed. Fans of 90 Day Fiance are likely familiar with the said barbershop.
It was prominently featured on the show, particularly during the time when Ashley learned about Jay Smith's unfaithfulness. During one of the episodes, Ashley visited the shop and pleaded with Kendall to spill the tea on Jay.
The barbershop owner "rat out" the Jamaican native and shared details of his cheating. Kendall claimed that Jay had an intimate moment with one of his customers at the establishment's bathroom.
"Jay ain't want to be married. If he did, he would've done things differently," Kendall said at the time. "But y'all are trying to save a marriage that he didn't even want!"
Ashley Martson Saddened By the News
Ashley Martson was shocked by the news of Kendall's unexpected passing. The 90 Day Fiance star shared a screenshot of the news about the shooting on her IG Stories.
"I'm truly saddened to see this," Ashley wrote. "Praying hard for everyone involved. This is the barbershop who told me about Jay's transgressions on 90 Day Fiance."
She followed it up with another post seemingly confirming that Kendall has been killed during the tragic attack. Ashley shared a photo of him taken from the show and captioned it with, "RIP Kendall."
It is worth noting though that authorities have yet to confirm the identity of the killed person in the barbershop. They did confirm though that the perpetrator is on the loose. Authorities also said the incident is likely an isolated case, adding that all the shots appeared to be fired from inside the shop.
90 Day Fiance: Jay Criticized for His Post
Meanwhile, Jay Smith has yet to react to the tragic incident. Many expected him to at least express his condolences since they've been friends even for a short time.
Fans also called him out for posting a photo of hunting rifles just hours after the news of Kendall's killing. Apparently, many find it insensitive that he shared something like that amid a tragic incident. So far, Jay has yet to make a statement about it.
