7 Little Johnstons fans finally get a closer look at Jonah Johnston's crib. Jonah is the last adult Johnston kid to move out of Amber and Trent's house last year. And while it took him a while, he still managed to prove he's capable of living solo.
However, Jonah's new pad seemingly failed to impress his family, particularly the ladies. Now, Amber, Elizabeth, and Anna are on a mission to spruce up his house. Will he like the result?
7 Little Johnstons: Jonah Johnston Moves Out
On Tuesday's episode of 7 Little Johnstons, Jonah Johnston shared a glimpse of his bachelor pad. The eldest son of Amber and Trent Johnston left the nest last year, following his sisters, Elizabeth and Anna.
Jonah's big move has been anticipated by many, especially since Amber and Trent seemed eager to have him out of the house as soon as possible. The couple has already denied "forcing" Jonah to get his own place.
"[We] never pushed or not pushing Jonah to move to NC!!!" Amber wrote at the time. "Just making sure all 3 oldest are moving forward in becoming independent, responsible ADULTS as they should be!"
Johnston Girls Spruce up Jonah's Place
It's safe to say that Jonah Johnston's house, which he shared with his roommate, is far from what the Johnstons are used to. Apparently, the 7 Little Johnstons star doesn't prioritize decorating his humble abode.
During a visit, Trent noted that decoration in Jonah's house is "non-existent." He also described it as straight-up a bachelor pad.
On the other hand, Amber appeared more unimpressed, calling her son's place a "frat house." The 7 Little Johnstons mom said Jonah is not really into decorating, adding that he's a minimalist who doesn't want things he doesn't need around the house.
Amber Johnston tried to convince Jonah Johnston that his home needed a make-over. She assigned Elizabeth and Anna Johnston to do the job, whether Jonah liked it or not.
7 Little Johnstons: Jonah Mocks Mom and Sisters' Taste
Jonah Johnston eventually allowed the Johnstons girls to do their thing. However, he made it very clear that he's not really into beautifying his home. The 7 Little Johnstons star maintained that whatever he has at home serves its purpose well, and it's all that matters.
Jonah also poked fun at Amber's style, particularly signages like "Live, Laugh, Love," and "Bless this home" hanging on the wall. Instead, Jonah prefers decors that could easily start a conversation, like a "taxidermy moose head."
