Amber Johnston and her husband, Trent Johnston, officially welcomed the newest member of their family — an exchange student from Finland. The 7 Little Johnstons stars let the big secret out on Instagram last week, which drew mixed reactions from fans.
The TLC stars met with the international student, who will be staying with them while he's studying English. However, the Johnstons family has yet to give further details about his identity.
Still, Trent and Amber Johnston have been sharing their fun moments with him on social media. By the looks of it, the young lad gets along quite well with the couple and their kids — Jonah, Liz, Anna, Emma, and Alex.

The 7 Little Johnstons stars recently introduced their houseguest to an American tradition that he has never tried before. Amber Johnston and the whole family taught him how to carve a Jack-o'-lantern.
Jonah Johnston seems to be very hands-on in teaching his new pal in making the famous Halloween decor. The two appear to get along well, as seen in their photos together.
Amber Johnston shared several snaps from their fun afternoon, and 7 Little Johnstons fans quickly expressed their thoughts. Apparently, not everyone's on the same page regarding the Johnstons' decision to welcome new addition to their household.

7 Little Johnstons Fans Divided By New Member of Family
Opposing fans ended up ranting against each other on Amber Johnston's post. One 7 Little Johnstons fan excitedly asked who exactly is the "new kid" hanging around with the family lately.
But the innocent question did not sit well with the others. Apparently, some find it "obnoxious" that people keep asking who he is when the family already stated that he's staying with them as an exchange student. Some think the boy is getting a lot of attention and drama regardless if he wants it or not.
However, some pointed out that the foreign student knows what he's getting into, especially since he's already shown on teaser for the upcoming season.
