7 Little Johnstons star Amber Johnston just turned a year older. On Thursday, March 10, the wife of Trent Johnston celebrated her 43rd birthday, and the whole family made sure to make it extra special.
It seems Amber had a low-key celebration with her husband and kids. Elizabeth Johnston was first to greet her mom on Instagram, followed by her other siblings, Emma and Anna.

7 Little Johnston: Get To Know Amber Johnston
Georgia native Amber Johnston is the only little person in her family of five. Still, the 7 Little Johnstons star grew up full of love from her parents and siblings.
Like the rest of the Johnston family, Amber has achondroplasia. She stands at 4 feet tall. But her condition never slowed her down one bit, especially when it comes to raising her family.

Amber and Trent Johnston's Love Story
Trent and Amber Johnston's love story is definitely one for the books. The 7 Little Johnstons couple met as teenagers at a Little People of America convention. Sparks flew instantly, and they've been inseparable ever since.
Previously, Trent admitted that it was love at first sight with Amber. "I saw a gorgeous blonde-haired, blue-eyed, 16-year-old girl," the father of five recalled. The feeling is mutual for Amber, describing him as an "attractive young man with a funny personality."
Apparently, Trent Johnston was Amber Johnston's first boyfriend. They were so in love with each other that they decided to take their romance to the next level after several years of a long-distance relationship. They tied the knot in front of 250 families and friends.

It didn't take long for Amber to conceive her and Trent's first child together. Shortly after getting married, the 7 Little Johnstons star welcomed Jonah. Less than two years later, she gave birth to Elizabeth.
However, due to complications during her second pregnancy, Amber Johnston decided to opt for adoption. The rest, as they say, is history.
7 Little Johnstons Mom Has Several Health Scares
Amber Johnston had several health issues in the past as well. Previously, the 7 Little Johnstons star feared she had skin cancer. At the time, Trent Johnston's wife revealed that she's been seeing a dermatologist for over a year, keeping a close eye on a mole on her back. Apparently, she had it biopsied, and the results showed the spot wasn't "full-blown melanoma" and wasn't benign.
Amber also had spinal surgery, which put her on steroids. At the time, the mother of five packed on weight fast. But because of her dedication to living healthy, she was able to lose those extra pounds.

Amber's Full-time Job
Aside from 7 Little Johnstons, Amber Johnston has other means of income. She's currently working as an elementary school teacher.
Amber is also back in college, completing her degree in order to expand her skills as an educator. She's expected to finish school in 2024, around the same time as her daughter, Anna Johnston.
