Amber's passion for educating also prompted her to enhance her skills further. Last year, she returned to college in hopes of finishing her degree in education.
However, it seems Amber Johnston has an unexpected change of plan. The wife of Trent Johnston recently confirmed that she's no longer pursuing a career in teaching. Here's why.

7 Little Johnstons: Amber Johnston Reveals Latest Career Move
It looks like Amber Johnston has a change of heart regarding her chosen career. Those who follow the 7 Little Johnstons star know she's been working hard to finish her education degree.
Amber even goes to the same school as her daughter, Anna Johnston. Both of them hope to become full-fledged educators in 2024. It seems the mother and daughter are on the same page when it comes to their future profession.
However, Amber Johnston recently announced that she is no longer pursuing a career in teaching. The 7 Little Johnstons star revealed she had already changed her major and is now taking up Bachelor of Science in Social Work.
Amber took to her Instagram Stories and explained her big decision. She confirmed that she changed her course last March and has started taking classes for the new program this month.

Amber Not Closing Door To Teaching
Despite her career move, Amber Johnston is still open to the possibility of teaching again. The 7 Little Johnstons star noted that being an educator has always been her dream, but she's confident her skills will be more useful elsewhere.
"Teaching is definitely a passion of mine," Amber explained. "However, being back in the classroom after a couple of years, I feel that I will be best out in the community serving families and children and just the population overall."

Amber Johnston also hopes to make an impact in education, even if she's not on the frontline of it. The 7 Little Johnstons celeb said she wants to "help make classrooms a better place and in a better position for educators."
Amber ended her post, hinting at possibly teaching again at the right time. "Truthfully, you'll never know," she added. "I may be back in the classroom one day."
