'19 Kids & Counting' Gets the Axe From Streaming Platforms Amid Josh Duggar's Arrest

Counting On fans have been debating on social media whether the show should be canceled or not. Apparently, Josh Duggar's child porn arrest caused major damage to the image of the Duggars. Due to this, some viewers are begging TLC to cancel the show.

However, TLC remained silent about the topic. Instead, they released a short statement about Josh's arrest stating that they're saddened about the news. Meanwhile, some streaming platforms are already making moves, pulling out the Duggars from their platforms.

Apple & Amazon Prime Removed 19 Kids & Counting

According to reports, 19 Kids & Counting has been removed from Apple TV and Amazon Prime. The removal of the reality show comes after Josh Duggar's child porn arrest. It appears that both streaming services are not a huge fan of controversies, and removing something that connects with Josh is the best choice for them.

TLC already canceled the show back when Josh's molestation scandal surfaced in 2015. However, years later, the network company decided to renew it sans Josh.

Hulu Removes Counting On

Counting On fans were shocked after Hulu removed Counting On from their streaming service. Apparently, Hulu offered both seasons 2 and 3 of the showHowever, the Duggars are not the only one who's leaving the streaming service.

Apparently, other TLC shows like 90 Day Fiance, 1000-Lb Sisters, and Welcome to Plathville are also leaving the streaming service. It seems that Josh Duggar's child porn arrest is one of the main reasons why the show got removed. However, reports claim that it's actually due to some TLC shows becoming exclusive on Discovery+.

Meanwhile, some fans are defending Counting On from being canceled as Josh was never actually a part of it, something that Jill Duggar's husband, Derick Dillard, agreed with.

Will This Be the End of the Duggars?

Counting On fans are worried as they may never see the Duggars on screen again. Apparently, TLC shared an update about the conservative family earlier this year, where they covered the arrival of Brooklyn Praise and several life updates with Jessa Duggar, who's currently pregnant with her fourth child.

Some fans are still hoping to watch Jana Duggar's journey on finding the right guy. According to reports, Jana is in a relationship with a pilot named Stephen Wissmann. Aside from that, fans are also hoping to see more updates about Justin Duggar and his wife, Claire Spivey.

Apparently, reports claim that their wedding was documented and is expected to be released in future seasons.
