Young And The Restless spoilers welcome Trevor St.John to the CBS soap. St.John is no stranger to soaps and is best known for his role as Todd Manning/Victor Lord Jr on One Life To Live.
Details about the actor's new character on Y&R are being kept under wraps. However, St. John is expected to start filming this month and will appear on screen sometime in the fall.
The character is rumored to shake things up in Genoa City. But will St. John come on as a new character or a recast?
With Ashland Locke's (Robert Newman) recent demise, it is a good time for a mover and a shaker to come to town. Y&R rumors have a few guesses regarding the mystery role. Still, no matter who St. John plays, he will certainly be an exciting addition to Young And The Restless.

Y&R: Will Trevor St. John Be a Recast?
There is speculation that St. John could play Ronan Mallory. Now that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is working on the police force, he could use a partner. Who better than his brother?
Ronan also has a romantic history with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Ronan could be a competition for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Or he could cause some problems in Chloe's marriage to Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart).
Or perhaps it is time for Dylan McAvoy to return home. Dylan left town to protect his family from dangerous criminals. However, Dylan broke Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case) in the process.
Dylan was also on the force. Perhaps he can fill the void that was created when Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) passed away. Chance needs a partner, and Sharon needs a new love. Dylan could challenge his brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), for Sharon's heart on Young And The Restless.

Will There Be a New Character on the Young and the Restless?
Of course, Trevor St. John could be playing an entirely new character. There is speculation that he will be linked to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
He could be a man that Diane scammed. Nikki Newman's (Melody Thomas Scott) private investigator could have dug him up. Or maybe the new man in town could be Diane's partner in crime. Would he be a help or a threat to Diane?

Another Y&R rumor is that St. John's character will have ties to Ashland. Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) worried that there was no one to claim Ashland's body. Also, Summer thought that there should be a funeral for Harrison Locke's (Kellen Enriquez) sake. Will a man from Ashland's past make a surprise appearance? If so, what kind of trouble will he cause, if any?
One thing is certain, St. John will not lack a love interest. There are quite a few single ladies on The Young And The Restless.
