Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Adam Newman and Nick Newman set aside their differences amid a tragic loss. This week, Sally Spectra suffers a medical emergency, which puts her and her daughter in a life-threatening situation.
Adam is forced to choose whether to save Sally or the baby. In the end, he picks Sally. Will the unbearable pain bring him closer to family, particularly Nick?
Young and the Restless: Sally and Adam Mourn?
Sally Spectra blames Adam Newman for the death of their daughter, Ava. Young and the Restless spoilers say the grieving mother is an emotional mess after learning he decided to save her instead of their baby. Adam reiterates it's the hardest decision he made in his life. However, Sally's too heartbroken to accept his explanation. She thinks his decision destroys her life, adding that she wants what was taken away from her. Adam reminds her that Ava was taken away from him too. He says there's nothing he wouldn't have done for the baby and Sally. But it doesn't look like Sally's ready to forgive Adam — at least for now.
Nick's Brotherly Love?
Nick Newman arrives at the hospital and talks to Adam Newman. Young and the Restless spoilers say the brothers fill each other in with their respective life-and-death situations. Adam informs Nick that they lost the baby. Nick doesn't know what to say and goes to check on Sally Spectra. He feels guilty for not being there for her. Later, Nick invites Adam for a drink at Society. He knows his brother needs someone to talk to right now.
Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick tells Adam he's grateful he's there for Sally when he couldn't. He's sorry that he had to make a tough decision but believes he made the right choice.
Nick knows he'll never be able to convince his brother that it wasn't his fault. Adam says it doesn't matter anymore. He's not sure how to move forward without his baby.
Nick's not sure either, but they have to endure. Then, Adam tells Nick to go be with Sharon and Faith; they need him more than he does.
Nick agrees and gets up to leave. Adam holds out his hand to his brother. But instead of a handshake, Nick embraces Adam tightly.
Young and the Restless: Victor's Sound Advice?
Later, Victor Newman arrives and watches Adam Newman checking the memento of her daughter. Young and the Restless spoilers say The Mustache tells his son he's sorry for his loss. Adam blames himself for the agony Sally's going through. Victor tries to convince him that it's not true. However, Adam thinks there's something corrupt in him that always mess things up.
Victor asks the baby's name. He thinks Ava is beautiful and wishes he knew his granddaughter. Adam says he wishes the same.
Young and the Restless spoilers Victor admits he's gone through the same experience. Adam asks how he handled it.
Victor says he turned away from everyone, and it was a big mistake. He points out that you turn to those who love you when this sort of thing happens.
But Adam thinks there's nobody and that he has to get through this alone. Victor disagrees and reminds him he has people who care for him.
Adam thinks people will be happy to hold Ava's death over his head. But Victor assures him that's not happening. He will be there for him. Sally and Connor too. All he has to do is ask.
Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam wants nothing but forgiveness from Sally. However, Victor tells him he can't expect it from her now. Maybe in time, when the pain subsides, she'll be able to forgive him.
Adam appreciates his father's advice but insists nothing matters to him anymore. Will this latest tragedy push him back to the dark side?
