Y&R: Adam Is Pushed Aside
Victor Newman never intended for Adam Newman to be CEO permanently. Adam was just a seat filler for Victoria Newman.
Still, Adam was hoping to prove he was the better choice for the role. However, the second Victoria returned, Adam was ousted.
To add insult to injury, he was never even considered for co-CEO or COO seat. Instead, Victoria chose Nikki and Nick for those roles, with Victor's approval.
Nick has not worked for Newman for years and was given a position over Adam. Young And The Restless spoilers for the week of July 11 to 15 suggest that Adam will be pushed over the edge.
Adam will visit Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in the Newman Media offices. Sally will wonder if Adam is prepared to walk away from the Newnan family and business.
Adam will assure his girlfriend that he will not take her job. Sally will be concerned that his resentment will consume him. She will urge him not to give up hope of being CEO. Adam will tell Sally that all he can think about is revenge. Victor will overhear on Young And The Restless.

Victor Newman will be disappointed with Adam Newman's reaction. The Mustache will encourage his son to stay and run Newman Media.
Victor assures him that Victoria will treat him with respect. Adam will wonder how that is possible when Victor does not respect him.

Victor used Adam to lure Victoria back. Now he has lost the top seat. Not only that, but Nick is COO. Adam has had enough.
Victor will tell Adam he will break his father's heart if he walks away. But that will not stop Victor and Nikki from celebrating Nick's return. The family, minus Adam, will toast Nick's role as COO.
