Victor Newman's goal was to crush Billy Boy Abbott and take over Chancecomm. Yet, he did not expect Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to make an offer on the decimated media company.
Jill Abbott will use the opposing parties' interests to create a bidding war. If Chancecomm is on its last legs, why not get top dollar for it.

Jill Makes Lily a Tempting Offer on Y&R
When Jill Abbott returns, she will scold Billy Abbott for falling for Victor Newman's trap. Even if Jill can save Chancecomm, Billy may be out of the family business.
However, Jill will make Lily Winters (Christel Khali) an intriguing offer. Lily has gotten several job offers lately. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) offered her a position at Newman Media. Victoria and Ashland offered to keep her on as CEO of Chancecomm if they acquire the media company.
