Daniel Romalotti rats out Phyllis Summers to Jack Abbott, Kyle Abbott, and Michael Baldwin. Young and the Restless spoilers say he knows his mother will be in deep trouble with the law for faking her death. However, he believes the longer they hide the truth, the worse it could be for her.
Despite exposing his mother's secret, Daniel doesn't want her to end up in jail. Michael Baldwin can't be of any help for now since he's representing Diane Jenkins.

It seems the Abbotts couldn't bite their tongue about Phyllis Summers' secret. This is despite Michael Baldwin's strong advice to hold off.

Diane rages, noting that Phyllis almost ruined her life and the lives of the people who love her. Diane thinks Phyllis is being "hateful" and even calls her "pure evil."

Phyllis Summers' deceit is very similar to what Diane Jenkins did in the past. Young and the Restless fans know she also faked her own death and allowed her family to suffer. Is Diane a hypocrite for criticizing Phyllis for a lie she committed first?
Of course, Diane's reaction is quite understandable. After all, she paid the price for a crime she didn't commit.
