Young and the Restless actor Eric Braeden unleased his inner Victor Newman in real life. The veteran soap actor proved he's as tough as The Mustache even off-camera.
Recently, Braeden sent a scathing message to Russian President Vladimir Putin, condemning his attacks on Ukraine. It seems the actor can relate to the chaos on a personal level, having escaped from World War II in Germany.

Eric Braeden, who plays the iconic Victor Newman, took to Twitter and expressed his thoughts on Vladimir Putin. The Young and the Restless star lashed out at the president, who is at war with Ukraine.
"Vladimir, you, like all other dictators, will meet a dreadful end!" Braeden tweeted. "You may have studied some history, but obviously not the history of autocrats! It ain't pretty! All your riches will mean nothing and won't save you!"
The Young and the Restless actor goes on to make comparisons with dictator Adolf Hitler. "It's like one of the worst among you, Hitler, attacking innocent Poland," Eric Braedan continued. "Only to later break the RIBBENTROP/ MOLOTOV non-aggression treaty and attack your country & cause untold damage! Why? He had delusions of grandeur of omnipotence, of racial superiority! Just remember how he died!!"

Fans Lauded Eric's Brave Move
It's clear that Eric Braeden is not happy with the ongoing crisis. Fans of Young and the Restless lauded his bravery in speaking out on issues that matter to him.
Many seemed to appreciate and echo his sentiments toward the Russian ruler. Some even compared his fierce attitude with his Y&R character Victor Newman. Braeden is one of the many celebrities who condemn the violent and ruthless attacks on Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Eric Braeden's character on Young and the Restless has his own battle to fight, and he's fighting it hard. Victor Newman continues to deal with Ashland Locke, who has been lying about his cancer to make his way to the top.
The Mustache even issued an ultimatum to the Locke-Ness Monster, but to no avail. Ashland countered Victor's attack with yet another scheme, gaining Victoria Newman's sympathy even more.
It seems Ashland Locke's manipulation will cause a major rift between Victoria and Victor Newman. Young and the Restless spoilers for the week reveal the father-daughter duo will clash, and it's not looking good.
