This week, Summer takes matters into her own hands when she devises a risky plan for Phyllis. And with the help of the powerful Victor Newman, she might just secure her mother's freedom.
Young and the Restless: Summer Devises a Plan?
Summer Newman-Abbott is not giving up on Phyllis Summers. Young and the Restless spoilers say she comes up with a plan to help her mother.
Summer suggests they pay a fake witness to testify that Phyllis killed Jeremy Stark out of self-defense. But Daniel Romalotti doesn't think it's a good idea.
He tells her sister paying a fake witness could only make matters worse for their mother. Summer asks why they can't just find the EMT instead.
Daniel points out that Carson would be lying under oath, adding that he would continue to extort her over the years. He also worries that Carson would make up lies contradicting Phyllis' story.
But Summer isn't backing down. Young and the Restless spoilers say she tells Phyllis about her idea. However, she refuses to let her daughter do that.
Phyllis knows the damage she's caused to Summer and Kyle. So instead of finding the EMT, she wants her daughter to work on fixing her marriage.
Later, Phyllis calls Daniel and asks him to protect Summer before she goes too far. She warns him that Carson could be a danger to all of them.
Michael Gets Involved?
Meanwhile, Summer Newman-Abbott meets with Michael Baldwin at Society. Young and the Restless spoilers say he fills her in about Nick Newman's situation and assures her that everything's fine.
Then, Summer tells her plan to find Carson and pay him to lie about Jeremy Stark's death. But Michael thinks it's a bad idea.
The lawyer points out the possible charges if things don't work out. He also reiterates what it could mean for Phyllis.
Still, Michael promises to do what he can. However, he needs more resources to help. He suggests bringing up the matter to Victor Newman.
Young and the Restless: Victor Agrees to Help?
Later, Summer Newman-Abbott asks Victor Newman to help her find Carson. Young and the Restless spoilers say she tells The Mustache that she only wants Phyllis Summers to come home without a murder charge.
Victor isn't too keen on using his investigators to hunt down a criminal to help another criminal, Phyllis. He's not sure why he should help someone who caused all this stress to his granddaughter.
Michael points out that the EMT is Phyllis' only hope right now. Victor says he understands, but his intuition tells him he shouldn't help Phyllis.
Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer begs even more. Ultimately, The Mustache agrees to help find Carson. Is Victor the key to Phyllis' freedom?
