Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, September 24, reveal Billy Abbott's attempt to win back Sally Spectra. Things fell apart between the two due to Billy's obsession with taking back Chancellor. He was so eager to work with Cane Ashby, neglecting all of Sally's concerns. Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin tells the truth to Lauren Fenmore regarding his decision to work with Cane.

Wednesday's spoilers for Young and the Restless feature Michael talking with Lauren at Society. Michael began celebrating and even popped a champagne. Lauren is curious about what he's celebrating. She asks if he's hiding something. Michael makes an excuse, telling Lauren that he'll never hide anything from her.

"If you are lying to me about anything, I will not forgive you. There will be no coming back from this," she adds. This leads Michael to finally come clean. "Cane Ashby is trying to destroy Genoa City as we know it, and I may be the only one who can stop it," he tells Lauren. 

Billy Asks For Forgiveness

Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday tease Sally receiving a call from Billy shortly after overhearing Diane, Jack, and Kyle talking about his declaration of war with Cane. Sally then tells Billy that she had already told Jack and Diane about everything. Billy tells Sally he thought she had already betrayed him. But he realizes that he was the one who made a mistake. "This grand epiphany that you had, did you walk away or did something happen?" Sally asks.

"Any deal I have with Cane is off, permanently," Billy responds, before asking Sally for forgiveness. "Can you forgive me?" he asks. However, Sally tells Billy that she's still unsure if she can trust him again. "I'm done being manipulated," she says. Billy understands that Sally is mad at her. But Sally confesses that she's angry at herself as well. "I had a job, a career that I loved. And what did I do? A little sweet talk and I gave it all up," she adds. Sally then mentions that Billy's obsession ruined everything for them. He responds by saying that all he saw before things went down was the Chancellor. Will Sally forgive Billy and start over?
